Osteopathy

Deborah J. Ryan

B.Sc (Osteopathy)

Debbie qualified in 1994 from the British School Of Osteopathy (London), she knew at the age of 14 that she wanted to be an osteopath, and she’s been passionate from that time in how osteopathy can support people to achieve their optimum wellness. She has worked in private practice throughout her career; but she also volunteered for 3 years at the Immune Development Trust (London) where she gained valuable insight, knowledge and experience in supporting people with immune conditions, which continues to be a passion in Debbie’s private practice today.

Since 1996, Debbie has been treating solely using the gentle cranial osteopathy techniques, completing numerous and extensive courses both in the UK and NZ. She has completed all IX phases of the specialised Biodynamic Cranial Osteopathy training, and incorporates all this knowledge in her practice.

Being a busy wife and mum with 3 teenage children, she has recently developed a special interest in supporting women to build and maintain healthy boundaries around their well being and stress management. However, Debbie enjoys the diversity of working in a family orientated practice, and treating newborns remains a special part of her practice.

Outside of osteopathy, Debbie enjoys spending time being creative in her studio and garden; and spending time in nature.

Homeopathy

NEW TESTING and TREATMENT PROCESS – Assessing health at a celluar level.

As a Homeopath, there are times where I feel additional support at a cellular health level is required. I have recently completed an intensive ‘pratitioner only’ training program to allow me to assess how patients are at this level. This process will add value to what homeopathy achieves especially where patients are doing well and want to do even better – losing weight for example.

Also, you may be aware of friends or family where homeopathy is not for them, but would like to make positive steps to improving their health. This aproach may suit them better. Read in detail here at our site under BIA TEST.

Nicki is now in her 13th year of practice having qualified in 1998, after 4 years of professional training with the Wellington College of Homeopathy. Nicki is registered with the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths (NZCH) and was an executive Board member for 5 years.

She is actively involved in the development of the profession in her capacity as lecturer at the Wellington College of Homeopathy for the last 8 years.

Previous study in physiotherapy together with her bachelor of Social Sciences Degree from Waikato University adds to her skill as a homeopath.

Nicki has a particular passion for working with the myriad of health issues facing families. These can range from teething pain, colic and eczema in babies to repeated infections in children as well as social issues, fears and anxieties across the board, through to more chronic issues such as stress and fatigue and depression in adults.
