Pre Consultation Patient Instructions

• Please complete the DAAS, HAQ and Mood and Stress Questionnaires (available here to download). This information is very helpful and will be used in conjunction with your test results and for developing the best Treatment Plan for you.
• Do not eat a meal 2 hours prior to testing
• Do not exercise 2 (light exercise) – 6 (heavy exercise) hours prior to testing
• Empty bladder before test (clinic bathroom is available)
• Your body acidity and toxin levels (bad bacteria etc) are assessed using a urine sample. The urine sample should be taken when you first get up. Ideally I would ask clients to collect a specimen container from the Twig Centre prior to your initial appointment so that you can bring your sample in with you to be tested at your initial appointment. Please note if your appointment is in the afternoon you will need to keep your sample in the fridge until you come. If it is difficult to get in to pick up a container prior to your appointment the alternative will be to take a specimen container home with you and return it on another day prior to your second appointment.
• If you think you may need to do a detox, the test for assessing this is very accurate BUT results will be even more accurate if you avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to testing and eat a good protein meal the night before.
